Someone read the question at the end of my last post and suggested I could make lemonade. I'm not sure how that works with turkeys, but maybe it is worth a try. At least the idea made me laugh.
When I think about it, there is always someone who has a more difficult row to hoe. The challenges of a dear friend and her family came to mind as well as those of one of my favorite aunts. The ups and downs of our daily encounters don't mean much compared to a sick child or a spouse who is being treated for cancer.
In spite of their troubles or maybe because of them, both my friend and my aunt still want to laugh. I hope thinking about making lemonade from turkeys does the trick.
